Nobby's Lighthouse

Nobbys Lighthouse is one of Newcastle's premier tourist attractions, loved by locals and visitors alike. Since Newcastle NOW first opened the lighthouse grounds to the public three years ago, over 100,000 people have made the journey up the steep hill to enjoy the breathtaking views.

Nobbys Lighthouse Grounds are currently open to the public every Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Access is free. 

Enjoy the spectacular, sweeping views of Newcastle city, the Harbour, and the ocean. It's a great spot for whale watching from May to November each year, with peaks in sightings occurring in July and September. Enjoy the historical photography exhibition in one of the cottages.
